A Conversation With The Green Business Partnership

4:30 – 6:30 pm

LeChase Construction Services
1 Labriola Court
Armonk, NY 10504

IFMA- Hudson Valley is excited to partner with the Green Business Partnership at its April 25th after-work networking and educational event, starting at 4:30 p.m. at the LEED Platinum offices of LeChase Construction in Armonk.

For 10 years, the Green Business Partnership team has expertly guided businesses through the process of becoming more sustainable while saving money and gaining recognition. Hailing from all industries and facility types, GBP members have proven that you can reduce your impact on the environment and improve profitability at the same time. Join us for an exciting discussion as program directors Dani Glaser and Scott Fernqvist walk us through the benefits and steps to green business certification through the GBP and demonstrate their recently launched web portal that is being rolled out statewide.

You will also be hearing directly from GBP certified member organizations, including:

  • Robert Kalmer, Corporate Services/Facilities Manager at The Blue Book Building and Construction Network will share key ingredients to success, including starting a green team in place, getting buy-in from senior management, conducting an energy audit, and more.
  • Bonnie Hagen, COO at Bright Energy Services will speak about available programs and financial incentives that are available right now for your business to implement green improvements to your facilities.
  • Grace Whitney, Energy & Sustainability Manager at Montefiore will provide an overview of key environmental initiatives at this rapidly expanding hospital system, including food waste reduction initiatives and strategies to reduce energy costs.

Special thanks to our host, LeChase Construction, a founding member of the Green Business Partnership and Green Business Certified since 2015. A tour of LeChase’s LEED Platinum and GBP certified office will also be available for those that are interested.

We hope you can join us!
