President: Robert Kalmer
Robb is the Facilities and Corporate Services Manager for Contractors Register in Jefferson Valley. Robb has been with the company for over 20years and in this current role since 2007. His hopes and dreams for our IFMA chapter include increasing membership utilizing the Blue Book’s database of Facility Managers in our area. Even though the types of facilities we manage are diverse, there are many common issues we face as Facility Managers. Visiting and touring each other’s facilities offers a wealth of information we all benefit from.
Vice-President: Renee Leib
For the past 6 years Renee has been the Facilities Manager for Statoil US Holdings in Stamford, CT. Prior to that she was the Facilities / Operations Manager for Loehmann’s Clothing chain in the Bronx. She is a member of her company’s Emergency Management Response Team. She has completed several FEMA courses and is two tests away from receiving her Facilities Management Accreditation (FMA). Renee is looking to increase her networking and involvement with IFMA by becoming a board member, where she will be able to assist other members in the field.
Secretary: Janet Estevez-Filardi
Janet has been a member of the IFMA Hudson Valley since 1996. She has served as Vice-President from 1997 to 1999, and as President from 1999 to 2002 Janet was also our Chapter Administrator position from 2002 to 2015.
Janet has been at Krasdale Foods, Inc since 1996. She holds the position of Facilities Manager. Krasdale Foods, Inc. is a wholesale food distributor serving the metropolitan area. She also has worked at: Sales Promotion Associate at Estee Lauder Companies; Human Resources and Administration at Applied Graphics Technologies; and Assistant VP Administration at Court TV.
Treasurer: Mark Dari
Mark joined our chapter almost 10 years ago as an associate member, and has become a sponsor of our chapter. He keeps our chapter moving forward in membership and with a sound financial position. Mark also manages our Chapter Sponsor program.
Chapter Administrator: Karen Haas
Karen volunteered in 2015 to help us with chapter programming, and has been sending out our newsletter. She has made it a point to get information out to our members in adequate time to allow for consideration to attend our events, and follows up to be sure we have great attendance. She has successfully integrated our membership into ConstantContact to help us target direct mailings to our members, and a separate list to our interested friends of the chapter.
Membership Chairperson: Ron Cognetta
Ron has been involved with IFMA Hudson Valley Chapter since 2003 serving as Program Chairperson. He has continued to support our programs, and is involved in helping develop and grow our chapter membership.
Ron is Director of Commercial Sales at Clancy Relocation & Logistics. Clancy is a chapter sponsor. Clancy employs over 160 packers, movers & relocation/logistical personnel. Additionally Clancy Furniture Installation Services provides installation of new or used office, industrial or retail furniture to commercial furniture dealers and end users. Clancy-Cullen Moving & Storage located in The Bronx, NY, (a Clancy Company) provides the same services as Clancy Moving Systems when union labor (Teamsters local 814) is required.
Job Bank Chairperson: David Eppinger
David has been an IFMA member since 1985, having started with the Greater NYC chapter. He has been involved with the Hudson Valley Chapter since 1993. He has helped with programs, membership, public relations. He is a past Chapter President. Currently, David is our Job Bank Chairman, and an active member of our Board.
David is involved in the commercial office interiors field, with over 40 years of experience. David has worked with Meadows Office Interiors since 2000 and is presently based in their NYC flagship office. Meadows is a chapter sponsor. David works with major national account clients across the U.S., providing interior furnishing solutions. In addition to his involvement with IFMA, David is on the executive board of the Westchester Putnam Boy Scout Council; Past President of Temple Beth Elohim (Brewster NY); and Co-Chair of the CycleAbility Challenge bicycle tour benefiting Special Olympics NY.

Website Administrator: Lynn Amos
Lynn Amos began her career in Graphic Design over 25 years ago in the publishing industry. Once the internet became a viable communications medium she began designing for the web as well. She worked in the office furniture industry for over 15 year before starting Fyne Lyne Ventures, a website and graphic design studio based in Westchester County.
Lynn grew up in Albuquerque, NM and moved to New York after graduating from college with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art. While living in NYC she studied graphic design at the School of Visual Art. She now lives in Peekskill, NY but visits New Mexico often and plans to build a LEED certified house on her little piece of land in the Sandia Mountains someday. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
